WARRANTY INFORMATION

At Haim Maison, we pride ourselves on offering the best service we possibly can. Once you have confirmed the issue is covered under warranty, photos and receipts need to be emailed to service@haim-maison.com.


WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Our warranties do not cover the following in any case:

  • Change of address. Due to some reasons, your warranty is only covered for the address your goods were delivered to.
  • Neglect or misuse. All items of furniture, some more than others, require proper care and maintenance. This is includes, but is not limited to, regular cleaning and use. Damage caused to your lounge as a result of lack of care or misuse will void your warranty.
  • Opening or removing parts of your furniture. If you feel something is wrong with your furniture, please contact Haim Maison straight away. Attempting to fix it yourself may void your warranty.
  • Wear and tear. Regular use of lounges, dining tables, and other commonly used furniture may exhibit signs of wear and tear, including creases, indentations, stretching leather, small marks, and other signs. These are not considered defects and are excluded from the warranty.
  • Defects from product usage with accessories not approved by Haim Maison.
  • Failure of the product arising from incorrect installation or assembly
  • Accidents, Acts of God, lightning, water, fire, public disturbances, improper ventilation, voltage fluctuations or any cause beyond the control of Haim Maison or your product.
  • Unauthorized modifications of any kind to the product.

To ensure your Haim Maison furniture lasts a lifetime, we’ve spent years researching the best ways to care for and maintain your furniture, no matter what it is made from.


PRODUCT MAINTENANCE

Over time your Haim Maison brass product may slightly tarnish. This is a natural process, however, there are easy ways to reverse this effect. Restoring dull, tarnished brass to like-new condition is possible, but you must be careful not to damage the metal with coarse abrasives or harsh chemicals. An alternative natural cleaning combination to restore your brass with salt and lemon.

To restore tarnished brass:

  • Cut a lemon in half and remove the seeds.
  • Coat the cut half of the lemon with table salt and rub it over the surface of the brass, re-coating the lemon with salt as needed.
  • Once you’ve covered the entire surface, buff to a shine with a clean, dry cloth.
  • You can also make a paste using two parts cream of tartar powder to one part lemon juice—rub the paste on the brass, let sit for 30 minutes, rinse with warm water and buff.
